Plonge leather is a type of corrected grain cowhide leather. Through buffing of the outer natural markings and pigmenting of the grain, blemishes are erased for a consistent finish across hides. This process results in a flexible, lightweight leather that drapes beautifully against the skin.

Japanese Plonge leather: This luxurious leather is made from the same breed of cattle of which Kobe beef is produced. This leather has a soft touch & weight of a lambskin and as such offers excellent cutting and is ideal for garments and much more.
